STATE AND PROSPECTS OF CAPITAL MARKET DEVELOPMENT IN POLAND

Financial market in modern economy plays an important role. It is based primarily on the conversion of savings in physical assets, which in turn determines the country’s economic development. Twenty years have been passed since the creation of the modern financial market in Poland. Its core activity is the capital market which is the subject of this article. Its essential purpose is to present the current state of development of this market and outline the prospects for its development in the coming years, because after twenty years of the existence of the modern capital market in Poland it is worth considering on these issues.
