Failure paths of SME sector
Today’s SMEs are real participants in the economic system changes that began several years ago and whose effects now affect the economy. Despite the significant changes that have occurred since then, the companies of the SME sector continues to be created, developed and liquidated based on a mechanism of entrepreneurship.
Functioning of the SME sector firms is accompanied by the phenomenon of business failure. Author of publication analyzes the processes of business failures typical for companies in this sector. The study presents already existing in the canon of literature descriptions of failures trajectories and attempts to show the new paths of business failures of the SME sector.
