Because of the patriarchal social roles and dualistic understanding of gender, women are related to home/ private while men are related to work place/ public. After the industrial revolution, capitalism needs cheap labor force so that women have been starting to enter the labor market. However, women have worked generally in uninsured and informal sectors. Thus, women have been trying to achieve the equal wages for equal jobs. Moreover, with entering the labor force, women have been facing with double burden; mother, housewives and also worker in their lives.  Unfortunately, this struggle has not been solved yet, status of women in the labor market has been still lower than men.  Our results also indicate that women and policy makers should give more effort to reach the equal labor market conditions.
