Abstract
Improving human well-being is one the goals of every economy. Human well-being has been positively related to freedom in the economy. Increases in the level of different freedoms lead to economic growth and development, which in turn improve human well-being. This research will examine the interaction among economic freedom, political freedom, and civil liberties to determine if there is any correlation among them. The research will also examine which of these three freedoms is more important in the improvement of human well-being. The empirical results will have policy implications in terms of determining which of the three freedoms is more important for the contries to impove upon. Data for this paper will come from Fraser Institute, Freedom House, UNCTAD, World Values Surveys, and the World Bank World Development Indicators.
