Biographical Sketch: Pedro Schwartz is a Professor at the San Pablo University, where he teaches history of economic thought and directs the Center for Political Economy and Regulation. He has taught at numerous universities and lectured all over the world on economic history, financial issues and other various economic topics.  A member of the Royal Academy of Moral and Political Sciences in Madrid, he is a frequent contributor to the European media on the current financial and social scene.
