Biographical Sketch: Jesús Huerta de Soto is a Spanish economist of the Austrian School and a Professor in the Department of Applied Economics at King Juan Carlos University. He is also a Senior Fellow at the Ludwig von Mises Institute and is on the editorial board of its Quarterly Journal of Austrian Economics. Huerta de Soto is currently considered as one of the most representative proponents of the Austrian School of Economics and has published numerous research works and articles.
