Biography: Iain Begg is a Professorial Research Fellow at the European Institute, London School of Economics and Political Science and a Senior Fellow on the UK in a Changing Europe Initiative. His main research work is on the political economy of European integration and EU economic governance, and in recent work he has been closely involved in the public debate on Britain and the EU. He has served as a specialist adviser to the House of Lords, the House of Commons and the European Parliament, and has undertaken a number of other advisory roles.
