Assessment of economic-financial condition of firms is a very important issue on the capital market in fundamental analysis. It is difficult part of such analysis because economic-financial condition is not directly measured and its assessment has qualitative character. The main goal of research was analysis of fundamental power of companies listed on the WSE. The fundamental power (TMAI) is synthetic measure which was created by using rules of building synthetic measure of development. Diagnostic variables are a very important components in such kind of measure. Those variables in the research are economic-financial ratios. Shape observation of TMAI (in time and in space), allow to asses economic-financial condition of companies and help to evaluate state and market condition. Statistical analysis of economic-financial ratios is also a very important issue in research of fundamental condition of firms. The research refer to companies listed on the WSE, including sector division. Analysis cover quarterly data from year 2000 to year 2007. In analysis, selected multivariate methods and statistical methods of regularities were used (structure and dynamic). Interdependence between economic-financial ratios, fundamental power and some market ratios and market indices was analyzed. Recognition of such kind of matter has big influence on effectiveness of investment on the capital market.
