This paper investigates the impact of the last economic crisis on the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) inflows. This work analyses and identifies the “winner” between developed and developing countries in terms of attracting FDI inflows during the crisis. Furthermore the scope is to identify specific trends, macroeconomic and other reasons that make countries more attractive and safer FDI host countries during crises.
