In last few years the Czech health system  as well as health service of most of the countries has to deal with  the problem of increasing expenditures of the health care system and the financing of the system. Czech system is not on the verge of  collapse but it needs comprehensive reform. The financial crisis, which did not  spare this resort,  has made the situation worse yet. Even if the impact of this crisis has not been as severe in the CR yet (mainly thanks to relatively high reserves of health insurance corporations), it is likely that tough times are still ahead.
