Analysis of economic development in selected UE countries

Economic development is a very important issue in economy. It can be treated as a result of behavior of many economic and non-economic factors which coexist in economy. Economic development can be described as a long term process witch refer to various sphere of economy, includes community standard of living, companies level of development, services level of development (with its accessibility) and many others. Generally standard of these elements is a derived element of economic level of development. Economic development has strong relation with assessment of the countries. In this field a very important issue is level of development of the regions which create the countries. The problem is: how to measure countries and regions level of development? What is or are  the most important factor/s in countries or regions development? How it works in these two generally different parts of economy: country and region? The main goal in the paper is analysis of level of development in select UE countries including its share on regions. In all researches some of quantitative methods were used with special using some of multivariate methods. The author put special attention on dynamic of changes in level of development for researches entities and dynamic of changes for select factors.
