O52-1 (2092) CHALLENGES TO EUROPEAN UNION INTEGRATION - I
The session includes papers, which analyze newly arising challenges to the deepening of the European Union integration. Those challenges stem from the expected inclusion of new members into the monetary union and from the possible impacts of the financial crisis on integration. Impacts on markets, policies and EU institutions will be dealt with. Also, papers will discuss and present models and methods, which allow insights beyond the standard nominal convergence perspective.
